Instruction Level Descriptions


Beginner individuals are first time knitters and/or crocheters. Beginners learn by private appointment only. This ensures personal success your first time around.

You will learn the fundamentals such as casting on, knitting, purling, and gauge, or chaining, single crochet, and double crochet.

Novice individuals already know the basics of knitting and/or crochet but have not yet ventured beyond simple projects such as scarves, blankets, and ponchos.

Intermediate individuals know the basics plus a few more skills such as pattern reading, correcting mistakes, and shaping. An intermediate is ready to try knitting simple tank tops and sweaters, as well as other garments.

Advanced individuals know a variety of specialty stitch patterns, fair isle, intarsia, and garment designing.

**Private instruction is offered for all levels from Beginner to Advanced.**

Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced individuals are welcome to attend any workshop. Class size is limited, so call to reserve your space. (949)496-4021
